To say I miss your Mom hardly touches the surface of what I feel.
Jeanie and I enjoyed a wonderful friendship for many years. Through modern technology we were able to share the daily activities of our days. We talked of everything, current events, the toys we had as children, advice to each other. We would discuss our faith together.
A fond memory is when we did a thanksgiving dinner together virtually.And the many times mike would be grilling and talking to her and Gary about what he was making.
Lots of joy and laughter as well as tears and sorrow. There are so many times I want to pick up the phone and call her. Or see a news article I want to share with her. Or send her a song on you tube.
But everything in this life is temporary. Nothing lasts forever. Jeanie is no longer walking life’s path with us. She has finished her race and received her crown.
Praying for God’s comfort and peace for all of you.
